Warranty Policy
daWg warrants that any daWg product that you purchase is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use during the specified warranty period. daWg warrants your product against any tech defect related to its components/software/user interface when purchased directly from daWg or its authorized reseller. No warranties or conditions, whether express or implied, will apply after the limited warranty period has expired except under certain conditions if the warranty has been extended. The warranty period and type of warranty service that apply to your product are outlined below. This policy ensures you a trouble free and relaxed support system with clarity of operation.
DISCLAIMER:
daWg is a sub-brand of Zebronics. Zebronics and any of its authorised service provider affiliates shall be providing warranty services for daWg as well.
WARRANTY IS APPLICABLE ONLY WHEN:
- Product is for personal use.
- Product is under warranty period.
- Product purchase invoice/bill (tax paid) is available and shown during repair.
- Warranty and serial number stickers are intact and not tampered.
- Product is not opened/attempted to repair except Zebcare authorized centres and its authorized engineer(s).
- Product PCBA & their components are not damaged, burnt, rusted, water-logged, tampered, etc (or any non repairable condition) etc.
WARRANTY CEASES IN CASES WHEN:
- Any Remarking on the product such as mentioning the date of sale etc.
- Trying to modify the actual product.
- Trying to tamper daWg logo.
- Non daWg-branded products and accessories.
- Resale of product after use etc.
- Products with missing or altered service tags or serial numbers.
- Product is not used as per instructions mentioned or improper use of products determined by Zebcare or failure to perform preventive maintenance.
- Products for which daWg has not received payment.
- Product is placed at a site that is not recommended for operation.
- Some accessory assembled in a system which is not sold by daWg authorized channel
- Servicing not authorized by daWg
- Defects generated due to conditions/situation beyond control like lightening, surge/abnormal voltage, act of God etc.
- External causes such as accident, abuse, misuse etc.
- Normal wear and tear.
HOW TO AVAIL WARRANTY SERVICE
If the product does not function as warranted during the warranty period, you may obtain warranty service by contacting Zebcare or a Zebronics approved Service Provider. A list of ZEB Care and Authorised Service Providers and their contact details are available at: https://zebronics.com/pages/service-centres. Warranty service may not be available in all locations and may differ from location to location, so it is recommended to check the website for the nearest service centre.
CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES FOR WARRANTY SERVICE
Before warranty service is provided, you must take the following steps:
- Follow the service request procedures specified by the Service Provider.
- Keep the original bills that comes up with the product.
- If in case of any product issue, contact nearest daWg authorised service centre.
TYPES OF WARRANTY SERVICE:
daWg offers various warranty service methods, including parts replacement, product dispatch, mail-in service, carry in, depending on the situation.
1. DEAD ON ARRIVAL (DOA)
- The duration of DOA is 15 days from the date of user’s purchase.
- As the name suggests, product should be in dead condition meaning product does not turn on at the time of operation.
- User should submit such product to nearby Zebcare with its intact packing/accessories and in brand new condition.
- Upon confirmation of defect from service centre, user will be provided with a brand new replacement.
2. UNDER WARRANTY (UW)
- The duration between DOA and Out Of Warranty is known as under warranty duration.
- User can get their product serviced from nearby service centre for any tech defect.
- Under Warranty products are serviced in below mentioned manner.
3. CARRY IN / IN-HOUSE/ RETURN TO BENCH SERVICES
User is required to visit the nearby Zebcare along with defective product. A list of ZEB Care and Authorised Service Providers and their contact details are available at: https://zebronics.com/pages/service-centres.
4. OUT OF WARRANTY (OOW)
- When the duration of the warranty expires for a particular product, user can rectify the defect of the product as per applicable charges in this duration.
- Repair must be carried out at ZEBACREs only.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
daWg is only liable for loss or damage to the product while it is in the possession of the service provider or in transit (if handled by the service provider). Neither daWg nor its service providers are responsible for any loss or disclosure of data, including confidential or proprietary information.
daWg, along with its affiliates, suppliers, resellers, and service providers, is not liable for:
- Claims from third parties seeking damages.
- Loss, damage, or disclosure of personal or business data.
- Special, indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages, such as loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, or anticipated savings.
- Total damages exceeding the amount paid for the product.
USE OF PERSONAL CONTACT INFORMATION (You can mention this in Privacy Policy also)
By requesting warranty service, you authorize daWg and its authorised Affiliates to collect, store, and process your personal details, such as name, contact information, and address, to facilitate the service. daWg may also use this information for customer satisfaction inquiries, or recalls etc. Additionally, it may be shared with authorized entities acting on behalf of daWg or disclosed as required by law. GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
- The terms of warranty are liable to change from time to time without any notice to customers as per market trends and management discretion.
- Warranty is non-transferable and shall not be considered in case of any resale.
- The warranty period starts from the first purchase of the product.
- Zebcare reserve the right to deny the repair of an outdated model in case of spare unavailability until further confirmation.
- daWg shall not be responsible for the damages caused due to transportation/ any missing product(s) couriered by dealer/ end user to Zebcare and services are not provided for such cases except at the discretion of daWg.
- In the event of replacement, customer needs to visit nearby Zebcare with the full product, its accessories with intact packing. Replacement at onsite not permitted.
- Same colour combination cannot be committed in the event of replacement. Customer will have to accept the replacement with available colour combination in stock.
- In the event of replacement, if same model is not available then an alternate model at an equivalent value shall be provided. Price of the product will be referred as current market rate or user invoice rate, whichever is lower. If alternate model at an equivalent value is not available then a different model shall be issued with difference charges + GST.
- Out of warranty & Critical cases shall be accepted for repairing only as per applicable charges and subject to certain conditions on a case to case basis. In the event, if the product can’t be repaired it shall be returned back to customer.
- Warranties might differ across all models of the same product category. Please ensure to check warranty term of a product on our website before purchasing.
- Zebcare reserves the right to retain any defective spares obtained from the user’s defective product against the new spare replaced by Zebcare. This is to ensure E-Waste compliance.
- Any disputes arising out of the warranty shall be settled at the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
